First term, effective July 1, 2024-June 30, 2028
“I am a Family Nurse Practitioner…currently practicing in a Primary Care Office, located on the west side of Columbus, where a large part of my patient population is underserved, uninsured, non-English speaking, and with a high rate of health disparities. Because of my patient population, I am extremely dedicated to providing the best care possible given everyone’s unique situation…I am the child of immigrant parents, so I am familiar with struggles we experienced growing up…these experiences helped me grow as an individual and motivated me to ensure I treat others with inclusivity and mutual respect.”
In addition to her role as a Family Nurse Practitioner at OhioHealth, Monica is a Clinical Assistant Professor of Practice at OSU’s College of Nursing, teaching in the graduate Master of Science in Nursing program for Family Nurse Practitioners.
